Day trip from Paris

Disneyland Paris

A Magical Day Beyond the City

Approximately 40 minutes by RER train

Why visit

Europe's most visited theme park resort sits at the end of an RER line, which makes it one of the easiest full-day escapes from central Paris. Two parks, parades, evening shows and a dining and entertainment village fill a day comfortably.

Top things to see

  • Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A.
  • The headline rides of Adventureland and Discoveryland
  • Walt Disney Studios Park and its newer lands
  • The daytime parade along Main Street
  • The evening castle show and Disney Village

Suggested one-day plan

Morning

Travel out for park opening and head straight to the most popular attractions while queues are shortest.

Midday

Break for lunch, then catch the daytime parade from Main Street.

Afternoon

Move across to Walt Disney Studios Park for its rides and shows.

Evening

Stay for the evening castle show, then take the RER back to central Paris.

Getting there from Paris

RER A trains run from central Paris to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy in around 40 minutes, and the station exit sits directly between the two park entrances. Some TGV and Ouigo services also stop at the same station.

Recommended time needed

A full day (10–12 hours) if you want both parks and the evening show.

Good to know
  • Buy dated tickets online in advance; prices vary by date and gate prices are higher.
  • Use the official app for live wait times and ride reservations.
  • The RER runs late enough for the evening show, but check the last train.
  • Expect long days on your feet — plan a mid-afternoon break.
