Regional trains from Lisbon Santa Apolónia or Oriente generally take about 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours. Tomar is one of the longer trips in this collection, so take an early service. The town centre is walkable from the station, while the Convent of Christ is a steep uphill walk or short taxi ride.
