Travel from Berlin to Oranienburg, then continue on foot or by local transport to the memorial.
Begin with the visitor information and permanent exhibitions to establish the historical context.
Move quietly through the memorial grounds and principal historical sites, allowing adequate time for reflection.
Return to Oranienburg station and travel back to Berlin.
Regional trains and S-Bahn services run from Berlin to Oranienburg. The memorial is not at the station: allow roughly 20 minutes for the onward walk or use an appropriate local bus when available. Check the memorial’s official visitor information before travelling.
Allow at least 4–5 hours including the memorial visit and local transfers.
