Antoni Gaudí's still-unfinished basilica, begun in 1882 and now targeted for completion in 2026 — the centenary of his death. Twelve towers will eventually rise around a central spire of Jesus reaching 172.5 m, one metre shorter than Montjuïc so as not to surpass God's work.
